A viral video shows an alligator recently spotted hiding under a set of shopping carts outside a supermarket in South Carolina.
The reptile set up shop underneath the metal carts in the town of Summerville in Dorchester County, about 25 miles northwest of Charleston.
"Y'all this is happening right now at the Publix," Lisa Royal, who filmed a shot of the gator says in the video taken last week. "There is an alligator under the shopping carts outside.”
Footage obtained by USA TODAY shows the gator resting underneath the caution tape, some snapping photos of the reptile.
“It was so unbelievably out of the ordinary, I had to stop and document the moment!” Royal told WFLA -TV.
